Rahel Gölzner
Rahel Gölzner is a self-taught photographer from Vienna, Austria.
Rahel likes to call her photography “Emotional Photography”, because her main goal and the reason why she started with photography was capturing emotions.
She is very interested in the human soul, and likes to trigger feelings with her shots.
What Rahel says about her work:
“I think every human, animal and flower is beautiful, that’s why I have not specialized in any topic. In my opinion emotions can be found everywhere, that’s why I am trying to walk through this world with my eyes wide open, and use all my senses to understand the deep meaning of situations, and human or animal behaviours.
I grew up on the Austrian countryside, that’s why I still feel very connected to forests and nature and like to explore and enjoy silence. At the same time I really love concerts and concert photography. For this reason I have created 'Krawall & Stille’ (noise/riot/din & silence) www.krawallundstille.at, Krawall & Stille is no contradiction for me, because I saw the deepest feelings when shooting musicians as well as taking photos of animals in forests. Both is interesting the same way for me and for me even the smallest flower can trigger happiness”.
