Submission Guidelines

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

WEEKLY FEATURE SUBMISSIONS

Send your submissions to: info@lefreakmedia.com with the subject SUBMISSION + First & Last Name

  • Visual pieces must be sent in JPEGs at 300dpi

  • We accept a maximum of 10 images per project

  • Along with your work, please provide the following:

    • Bio - Tell us about yourself

    • Artist Statement - Tell us about your style and the art piece you are submitting

    • What would being featured mean to you?

  • Instagram DM submissions will not be accepted into consideration. All submission requests must be submitted via email.

  • For possible IG features use the hashtag #lefreakmedia

 

Copyright Terms & Conditions

  • The artist remains as the full owner of their work. By being published on our platforms, you are giving us consent to share your work online.

  • Le Freak Media does not want to be exclusive. You are free to submit the same work to another outlet. If it was previously published somewhere else, please make sure they do not own exclusive rights to your work before submitting.

  • We are not against the use of watermarks however, please understand that for obvious reasons we will not take into consideration artwork that is covered completely by them. By being featured on our platform, your work will be accompanied by a write up about yourself and your work. This will replace the need for a watermark.

Le Freak Magazine accepts any kind of art, from photography, to paintings, to short stories and poetry, articles/editorials, music, etc.. We want to see variety here, and your work is accepted and will be taken into consideration. If you feel like you don't know if your work belongs here, send us an email with your idea, we want to give space to everyone.

We accept multiple submissions from the same artist for the same issue. Please divide clearly the different projects you would like us to take into consideration if you are sending more than one.


  • Send your submission to: info@lefreakmedia.com with subject line MAGAZINE + First & Last Name – genre (photography, painting, poetry...)

  • Visual pieces must be sent in JPEG format at a minimum of 300dpi

  • We accept a maximum of 6 images per project

  • Written submissions are preferred in Microsoft Word format. If this is a problem, copying & pasting directly into the email works as well.

  • In your email add a bio about yourself, and an artist statement regarding your project.
