Toma Nazarova

This week spotlight is on Toma Nazarova.

 Toma Nazarova is a Russian photographer that lives and works in Saint-Petersburg.

Photography is a part of her life. 

 “I usually take self-portraits and capture moments of and with my friends. I think photography helps people to feel and love themselves. I admire the human nature and beauty. We are so difficult and at the same time, amazing. Each of us is unique in our own way. I love humanity and don’t love photoshop. I can’t say that I have my own style and capture specific things. I tend to shoot intuitively and by inspiration. I try to catch elusive moments. I just do what brings me and my models joy and serenity. These are some of my dark self- portraits and portraits of my friends that I took on paper with an old analog processing method.”
