The Secret Garden - Silvia Rasulo

Silvia Rasulo was born in San Giorgio a Cremano (NA) on March 4th 1997. She started taking her first photos at the age of 14 with an Olympus photographing her friends, landscapes, everything around her, she had a lot of fun, but didn't have a specific genre she liked to shoot, and she is still trying to find her genuine style.

At the age of 18 Silvia finished high school and started working as a photo assistant in the ceremonial field, working alongside two great photographers from her country for 2 years. She attended various photography and graphic courses, but it was only at the age of 20 that she decided to approach the world of fashion, so she moved to Milan, and  studied at the Italian Institute of Photography specializing in Fashion, and she fell completely in love with it. 

What does Silvia say about her work?

“When I create my projects, I usually let myself be inspired a little bit by what I see, from things that surround me on a photographic level, I process everything in my mind and propose new ideas. I really like playing with colours in my photos, I like to create contrasts between them, as in the case of ‘The Secret Garden', where I brought into play the colours of nature with the model's outfits.”

What does being featured mean to Silvia Rasulo?

“For me to be presented from this page is really an honour, it means that what I create is liked and appreciated by other people, and I am very happy about this.”
